The site stays updated, backed up and watched
A website is not a thing you finish. Plugins update, some of them badly. Certificates expire. A vulnerability gets published. Left alone, a site drifts toward the day it breaks or gets hacked. Maintenance is the quiet monthly work that keeps that day from coming.

- Off-site backups taken weekly and test-restored, so a rollback always works
- A person watching uptime and security, backed by the tooling
Updates are tested first, then applied
Auto-updates are how sites break silently. We apply core, plugin and theme updates on a schedule, on a staging copy first for anything risky, and check the key pages afterwards.
- Core, plugin and theme updates on a set cadence
- Risky updates tested on staging before they touch live
- Key pages and the checkout checked after every update round
Backups that get test-restored
A backup you have never restored is just a hope. We take full off-site backups weekly, keep a month of history, and test-restore them regularly, so recovery is a 20-minute job when you need it.
- Full weekly off-site backups, files and database
- 30 days of restore points kept
- Regular test restores to a staging site
Watched, so problems surface early
Uptime monitoring, security scanning and a monthly health check mean issues get caught while they are small: a slow query, a failing form, a plugin with a fresh CVE, an SSL certificate about to lapse.
- Uptime monitoring with an alert if the site goes down
- Weekly malware and vulnerability scans
- SSL, DNS and domain-expiry watched
What's included
Everything in the box, on every plan
- Managed updates. Core, plugins and themes updated on a schedule, tested on staging where it matters.
- Weekly off-site backups. Full backups stored away from your host, with 30 days of restore points and test restores.
- Uptime monitoring. The site checked every few minutes, with an alert and a first look from us if it drops.
- Security scanning. Weekly malware and vulnerability scans, with a hardening pass on setup.
- Monthly health check. A person looks at speed, errors, forms and the update log, not just a dashboard.
- Monthly report. Plain-language: what was done, what was found, what needs your attention.
How it works
Onboarding and the first hardening pass take 3 to 5 business days. After that the work runs on a fixed monthly or weekly schedule, with incident response the same day.
Onboarding & hardening
We audit the current state, take a clean backup, apply a security hardening pass, and set up monitoring and staging.
Monthly cycle
Updates applied and checked, backups verified, scans run, and a health check done, on a fixed schedule you can rely on.
If something breaks
An alert reaches a person, not just a log. We investigate, roll back or fix, and tell you what happened.
Report & review
A monthly summary, and a quarterly call if anything on the site needs a bigger decision.

Frequently asked questions
Isn't this just running auto-updates?
Auto-updates are how sites break without anyone noticing. The difference here is that a person checks the key pages after each update round, tests risky ones on staging first, and can roll back in minutes.
Where are the backups stored?
Off your host, in separate cloud storage, so a compromised or failed server does not take your backups with it. We also test-restore them regularly, because an untested backup is not a backup.
What if my site gets hacked anyway?
Maintenance lowers the odds a lot but nothing is zero. If it happens, Care+ includes priority response, and the hacked-site repair service handles a full cleanup and recovery.
Do you do content edits and new features?
Care+ includes an hour a month of small fixes. Beyond that, the support retainer covers ongoing changes and builds at a discounted rate for maintenance clients.
Can you maintain a site you didn't build?
Yes, most of our maintenance clients came to us that way. Onboarding includes an audit so you know the real state of the site before you commit.
