A2 Hosting built its reputation on speed: Turbo plans on NVMe with fewer accounts per server, an anytime prorated refund instead of a fixed window, and datacenters in Asia and Europe as well as the US. In January 2025 it was acquired by World Host Group and is being rebranded to Hosting.com, which adds some uncertainty.
The core product is still a fast, developer-friendly shared and VPS host. The open question is how the brand and support settle after the acquisition.
Best for: Sites that need a faster server and an Asia or EU datacenter option.

Founded in 2003 in Michigan as Iniquinet, rebranded A2 Hosting in 2012. Acquired by World Host Group in January 2025, rebranding to Hosting.com.

Plans, the renewal price and the hidden fees
Shared hosting starts around $2.75 to $2.99 a month on a 36-month term. The Startup plan is one site on standard servers; Turbo Boost and Turbo Max move to NVMe with fewer sites per server and the AMD EPYC Turbo stack.
Renewal is roughly $12.99 a month for the entry plan, a typical mid-market jump. There is no free domain.
The refund is the differentiator: an anytime, prorated money-back guarantee rather than a 30-day cutoff.

Support has historically been 24/7 phone, chat and tickets, with a knowledgeable team (the Guru Crew). Post-acquisition, independent reviewers note some inconsistency as the brand transitions, so treat pre-2025 support praise with mild caution.
