Real estate is not one audience. Agents, investors, landlords, commercial brokers and homebuyers all read different sites and want different things.
Pitch a property-management blog a homebuyer tip and you will be ignored. Pitch an agent publication an investing deep-dive and same result. The list of 100 is below. First, pick your segment.
Find your real estate segment first
| Your segment | Best fit on this list | What they run |
|---|---|---|
| Agents & brokerages | Inman, RISMedia, The Close, HousingWire, RealtyTimes | Industry news, tech reviews, lead-gen and marketing tactics |
| Real estate investing | BiggerPockets, RETipster, InvestFourMore, Coach Carson, Best Ever CRE | Deal analysis, financing, BRRRR, tax, case studies |
| Property management & landlords | Landlord Station, Rental Housing Journal, Stessa, TurboTenant, Avail | Screening, leases, maintenance, rent collection, law |
| Commercial real estate | GlobeSt, Bisnow, Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, CoreLogic | Deals, market data, capital markets, sector trends |
| Proptech & tools | Placester, Carrot, Follow Up Boss, DoorLoop, Buildium | Product-led how-tos, workflow guides, integrations |
| Consumer & home | HouseLogic, Houzz, Apartment Therapy, HomeLight, ListWithClever | Buying, selling, moving, home improvement |
| International portals | Rightmove, Zoopla, realestate.com.au, Domain, 99acres, PropertyGuru | Local market advice, buying and renting guides |
What the metrics mean
| Metric | What it is | How much it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Domain Rating (DR) | Ahrefs' 0 to 100 score for a whole site's backlink profile | A useful filter, not a verdict |
| Domain Authority (DA) | Moz's equivalent 0 to 100 score | Same idea as DR |
| Page Authority (PA) | Moz's score for one specific page | Matters once you know which page your post will live on |
| URL Rating (UR) | Ahrefs' score for one specific URL | Same purpose as PA |
| Monthly Traffic | Estimated organic visits per month | The most honest signal that a link will be seen |
Here is the deal: the consumer portals at the top of this list have huge traffic but rarely take contributions and rarely pass much relevance to a B2B real estate brand. The agent, investor and property-management sites lower down are where most achievable, useful placements are.
The 100 real estate sites
Domain Rating, Domain Authority, Page Authority, URL Rating and estimated monthly traffic. Every domain was checked live in September 2026; dead and redirected sites were removed. Metrics are third-party estimates and shift over time.

The pitch that works for real estate editors
- Lead with your standing in the market. "I'm a broker who closed 40 deals last year" or "we manage 2,000 doors" earns the read.
- Pitch a specific, useful piece. Not "real estate tips". Something like "the three seller objections that kill a deal in week one, and the scripts that save it".
- Bring numbers. Local price data, days-on-market trends, portfolio results. Real estate editors love a chart.
- Match the segment's format. Agent sites want tactical how-tos; investor sites want deal breakdowns; commercial sites want market analysis.
- One clip in a similar register.
- Disclose any brokerage, CRM or platform you represent.
The test: would an editor commission this from a working agent or investor with nothing to sell? If yes, pitch it. If it is a walkthrough of your product, they will pass.
What not to do
- Pitch a generic "tips for first-time buyers" post. Every consumer site has a hundred of those.
- Send the same pitch to an agent blog and a commercial-real-estate outlet. Different readers, different world.
- Stuff the post with links to your listings, your CRM or your lead forms.
- Point exact-match anchors ("best real estate CRM") at your own product page.
- Submit AI-spun filler with no local knowledge or real numbers. It stands out immediately in this niche.
Bottom line: a few placements on the sites your segment reads will do more for your rankings and your reputation than a long list of high-DR portal links. Use this list to find your few.
